Pombo Elementary School

Pombo Elementary will be the tenth school in the Lammersville Joint Unified School District and the first school purpose-built for The Lakes at Mountain House — the community's newest and largest residential development. The school is scheduled to open for the 2026–2027 school year.

The 16-acre campus is designed to accommodate up to 950 students in grades TK-8, with state-of-the-art facilities reflecting the latest in educational design. Construction is expected to break ground in mid-2025, with open enrollment beginning February 2, 2026. The school will serve families in The Lakes' three sub-communities: Lakeshore (Village J), Lakeview (Village K), and Lakehaven.

Pombo Elementary represents the continued investment in education that has made the Lammersville district one of the top-performing in California. As The Lakes builds out with approximately 596 new homes across 12 neighborhoods, Pombo will be the academic anchor — continuing the Mountain House tradition of village-centered schools surrounded by parks and walking trails.
