Mountain House High School
2024 National Blue Ribbon School โ home of the Mustangs
About Mountain House High School
Mountain House High School, home of the Mustangs, is one of the top-performing high schools in California. In 2024, MHHS was named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education โ an honor awarded to less than 1% of public schools nationwide. The school's blue and silver colors fly proudly over a campus that has become the heart of the Mountain House community.
Opened in 2014, MHHS serves approximately 2,275 students in grades 9-12 and has earned a 9/10 GreatSchools rating and an A grade from Niche. The school offers rigorous AP courses, Project Lead The Way (PLTW) engineering and biomedical programs, and six CTE Career Pathways: Biomedical Sciences, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Culinary & Catering, and Dance.
The Early College Pathway Program, in partnership with San Joaquin Delta College, allows students to earn an Associate degree concurrently with their high school diploma. Athletics are a major part of Mustang life, with 29 varsity sports programs competing in the Valley Oak League. The stadium, known as "The Range," hosts football games, track meets, and the annual graduation ceremony.
Principal Dr. Adam Auerbach leads a staff committed to preparing every student for college, career, and life. Class of 2026 graduation is scheduled for May 29, 2026 at 6:00 PM at The Range.
